Women:  23 (11 of these are new) 

Children: 7 (2 of those are new) 

Transitioned into their own permanent housing: 8 (2 families) 

Guest Stories: 

We have an older guest (in her 70's) staying with
us and we've nicknamed her Queen Of All Trades.  She has repaired our side
porch and made new steps.    She cleans the grounds and she has
weeded the front yard.  She is a hard worker and has a good sense of
humor. 

We have two women vets currently staying with
us.   

We had a mother with a newborn and 2 year old and
they were transitioned to Phoenix to Changing Lives Center.  They have an
all inclusive program with a private apartment, on-site daycare and nursery,
and an on-site GED/Adult Education program with counseling and therapy, etc.

Pumtek Beads

I  enjoy designing with African Trade Beads and other such rare beads from across the world. I've collected them for years and now and again they are included in and with my work at the gallery. Here is a strand of Pumtek beads where the focal bead is a rare and old bead from Asia.  Pumtek beads are found in eastern Myanmar and made from fossilized wood. For the past 100 years these beads have been sought by collectors. Productions of these beads were recently stopped indefinitely and through this these Pumtek beads will increase in value. Pumtec Beads are quite rare. This
necklace design is now found at the gallery.

Buddha Brooch Adorned With Beads and Added to a Black Necklace Cord

I always add that my beaded brooches can also be worn as a pendant. All of my brooch pins run vertical on the back of each brooch and the brooch can slide on any type of chain or cord. I have many customers asking about the Buddha and I found this one which is bigger than a silver dollar at a bead show along with some wonderful wooden beads made from boxwood.

They write, "Every living being has the same basic wish – to be happy and to avoid suffering. Even newborn babies, animals, and insects have this wish. It has been our main wish since beginningless time and it is with us all the time, even during our sleep.
