Here is one of my last lampwork beads that I found in my stash. I used Peyote Stitch to encase the glass drop and adorned it with beads from all over the world to make a unique brooch.
This "Falls" Brooch is pinned on one of Anne Marston's handwoven scarves.
Working with the same color of beads, I added a vintage German Cabochon and vintage buttons.
This Porcelain Cabochon was cut from a broken dish from our original dishes purchased in Germany when we were married.
I encased this cabochon using peyote stitch and added fringe with beads and vintage buttons from all over the world.
The brooch is hanging on a hand woven scarf by Anne Marston.

Our zip line group in the rain forest - Ketchikan, Alaska. Front bottom is one of our fabulous guides as well as left in the back. They both were so professional and made us feel safe. Great job guys!
This is a must do expedition if you are in Ketchikan. We did a Holland America Cruise on the Westerdam and the ship was staffed with perfection!
Enjoyed seeing Hudson Bay History and the thought is always on the beads, of course.

Local Artist, Mary Kaye O'Neill, donates this Sterling & Shibuichi (mixed metal with copper tone) Asian Design Pendant (approximately 1 1/4" wide x 1" tall) with a small sapphire set on the melon texture.
