In my hand is a current issue of the Pop Rocket, Prescott Magazine. The front cover is all about Mary Kaye's painted silk scarves and inside you will find a great article about her and her art.

About 'Tis
The 'Tis Art Center and Gallery
In September 2007, It Is, Inc. was established for the promotion of local artists and various styles of art, to teach art and to make art economically available to the Prescott Community.
The 1893 Knights of Pythias building was for sale and near to ruin condition. But with it's three floors and location across from the Courthouse plaza in the heart of downtown Prescott it was deemed the perfect fit.
The project was completed by local craftsmen and architects. The goal was to match early 1900's criteria while meeting the needs of the building's future function as a community art center and gallery. In June of 2009, the doors of the 'Tis Art Center and Gallery were proudly opened.
The center’s two galleries feature a rotating selection of Fine Art paintings, sculpture, jewelry and wearable art, all by Prescott area artists. The third floor banquet hall, with its spectacular view of the courthouse plaza is ideal for wedding receptions and other black-tie affairs. It is also available for educational meetings, fundraisers, artist workshops, theater and dance performances.
The foundation and the art center are aptly named after a traditional Irish expression, “ ‘tis ” which is short for “it is”.
