From the PAWS Newsletter:
We had amazing items donated from Individuals as well as Businesses which helped us to raise more this year, which is always a positive thing! Patricia Brockert and Marilyn Rivenburg were amazing in getting this Tea put together and they did a lot of work toward it, so we thank them for their hard work and dedication to PAWS. We also were helped by Board Members: Lori Deutsch, Gerry Garvey and Margaret Garvey, we thank them as well. Many amazing volunteers of PAWS not only attend ed the tea but lots helped out before the tea, during and after. We thank you all!!!! Without the volunteer support, well you know, because we say this all the time.....we could not run PAWS without you VOLUNTEERS!!!
The money raised from the Tea goes directly to running the shelter and providing support to the women and children living in the shelter. This contribution to the shelter is very valuable and not taken for granted. We send you our thanks and gratitude to all of you who attended and participated in any way!
Also, talking about how fast time has gone by, I would like to say that now that summer is upon us, and many volunteers take vacations during the next several months, please be aware that we are needing advocates and meal providers especially now. If you are interested please call the shelter or email us. We would appreciate any help that you are
able to give over the next several months. Thank you and I hope you are all having a great summer!
