Recycled Kahlua Bottle Glass was used for this lampwork piece. Made into a brooch and ready to wear for adornment.
I found this Fish Ojime Bead while visiting The Bead Museum Store in Glendale, Arizona. The Bead Store supports the Bead Museum itself.
Ojime Beads were inspired by traditional Japanese Ojime beads. These hand carved boxwood miniatures were skillfully detailed by master wood-workers.
Peyote Stitch using size 11 seed beads connects the Fish to the Kahlua Glass and continues to created glass bead loops. I love to add some fresh water pearls and amber as part of the fish motif.
This "Kahlua and Pieces" showed at the Arts Prescott Cooperative Gallery on Historical Whiskey Row and now is on its way to Mesa, Arizona.
