I worked with a variety of weave structures ( yes.... that meant lots of "sampling") before settling on this design for my "Pocket Scarfs."
Available in "Raisin Berry" or "Midnight"
These scarfs were woven using a solid color wool/silk for the warp along with SWTC'S bamboo for the weft. I felt the need to weave a soft drapey body for these scarves and used a nubby yarn for the pocket accents. Finish it off with long pocket fringe, add two dramatic wood beads and you have a stunning "utlilitarian" scarf. I had a blast weaving this scarf and get a real charge out of being stopped and asked.... where did you get that scarf?
