"Chardonnay, Of Course", a necklace created using a hollow lampwork bead and pendant to make this necklace.
Anne would stroll through Arts Prescott and find one of my wine bottle necklaces. One day I asked Anne to bring in a photo of the necklaces she purchased as gifts for her family. Here they are!
Recycled Chardonnay Wine Bottle makes wonderful lampwork beads and jewelry as adornment. Here is "Loves Chardonnay, Loves to Dance", a necklace created using many lampwork beads and some off-loom bead weaving.
On the right are two lampwork beads created with recycled wine bottles just for the popular bracelets which are the style for today. I wear mine on my Pandora Bracelet.
I have beads hanging everywhere in my bead studio.
Here is a string of my Lampwork Beads created using Moretti Glass Rods among very old African Trade Beads.
The lampwork beads have a solid color cord, adorned and then encased in clear glass with dots added.
The black and white trade beads are titled "Lewis and Clark" Beads and the brown are ancient combed beads. In the back of the bunch is a string of small Chevron beads which are not antique like the other trade beads, but I like them very much. These beads are among my trade bead collection. They all have a history and they are all dear to my heart.

I like to feature other bead and jewelry artist's work at times - if I find something to showcase. This necklace created by Carol of Amberdark is such a beautiful piece I thought I would share it with you today.

I love to add found object to my beads. Here is an Indian Arrowhead that I used for the focal point for this brooch.
The larger lampwork brown bead in the fringe was created using a recycled Kahlua Bottle. Among all of the seed beads are Baltic Amber chips, a unique tattooed agate bead, and various glass beads from the world of beads.

I started this brooch with a plastic curtain rod ring and covered it with Right Angle Weave using size 11 seed beads. I then added a buttong in the middle of the ring.
The fringe is fun to create. I added several of my Merlot lampwork beads along with many of my beads from my bead box.
The pin was then attached and then taken to the gallery - Arts Prescott Cooperative Gallery - on Historical Whiskey Row.

I found this figure at a thrift store and brought it home and beaded it for a brooch.
I am now taking toy fighting figures and total wrapping them in hand spun yarns, decorative wire and beads. First I made my own using model magic and found that the toy figures work the best if you cover them 100%. I love finding things and revamping them into jewelry and brooches.
