The Abacus Adjustable Ring created by Debora Mauser is one of many workshops offered during the Bead Fest in Philadelphia.
Debora Mauser writes, "Student will first fuse a fine silver base; then form the ring shape. Weave a delicate wire around a fused and formed base highlighted with seed beads resulting in a unique adjustable kinetic ring. This technique can be used to create a bracelet also". This is a Wire Weaving for all Levels.
Stones & Seed Scalloped Necklace
Melinda Barta Workshop
Melinda writes, "Making a gorgeous scalloped necklace is easier than you think! Using primarily ladder stitch, students will learn how to join hex-cut seed beads and turquoise rounds into scallop-shaped loops, and then add additional stone-and-seed-bead embellishments".
