Mountain Spinners and Weavers 2009 Fashion

Here I am with Jeanne Zinda during the last Mountain Spinners and Weavers Fashion Show. Jeanne is wearing her Hand Woven Vest and we both are happy to be among such a talented group of women.

The Mountain Spinners and Weavers would like to announce that the 2009 Fashion Show and Tea is soon upon us. Get your tickets before they are all gone.

Michelle Johnson shows Fiber Art Creations while changing during the last fashion show. She was one of the models. Michelle is also a member of Arts Prescott Cooperative Gallery on Historical Whiskey Row where she shows her fiber art. Michelle also travels throughout the U.S. doing Fiber Art Shows. 

Eleanor Bostwick and her daughter Barbara Kiger are both great Fiber Artists. Here they are enjoying the Fashion Show as well. Both Eleanor and Barbara show their Fiber Art at Van Gogh's Ear Gallery on Historical Whiskey Row.

2009 Mountain Spinners and Weavers Guild Fashion Show and Tea

The Mountain Spinners & Weavers Guild is delighted to announce our 2009 fundraiser, a catered Fall Fashion Show and Tea on Saturday, November 14, from 12 pm until 4:00 pm, at the Adult Center in Prescott, AZ.

Guild’s members gather to display their hand-crafted creations, including clothing. All items draw on hand-arts and millennia-old skills, with hand woven-fabric and intricately knitted clothing. Many of the knitted and crochet fashions are from hand-spun yarn or are custom  designed for the show.

The doors will open at 12 noon, affording everyone a half hour to browse the Gallery offerings and find that perfect, one of a kind, wearable delight to purchase. The tea and show start at 12:30 p.m. Funds from the fashion show help the Guild provide scholarships at Yavapai College, plus provide Public and Continuing Education Programs.
