"Loves Merlot, Loves to Dance" is created with Recycled Wine Bottle Glass and Off Loom Bead Weaving. I used Brick Stitch, Right Angle Weave and Peyote Stitch making this piece. The clear bead is a vintage German Bead.
The large round off loom bead woven bead is a round vintage lucite bead which I covered using right angle weave.
The Merlot recycled bead pictured is created for seed bead artists. I normally have several of these lampwork beads in my loose bead case at the gallery for bead designers. This bead can be used alone or it is perfect to weave Branch Stitch Fringe through it. I have also used this lampwork design for a Focal Bead and weave fringe to create a one bead pendant.
Off Loom Bead Weaving is a relaxing art and once you learn how to do it you are hooked. Learn these stitches at most fine bead shops or if you are in Arizona you can always take classes at The Bead Museum in Glendale.
