This bead is universal and can be used all through the necklace.
Use 16 or 18 g wire. Cut 8 inches. Find the center of wire and note it by bending or marking the wire.
Begin with the round nose pliers and make a circle on both ends of the 8 inch wire. Begin using the flat nose pliers to coil the wire holding the pliers flat on the coil and wind until you get to the center of the wire and then begin to wind the opposite end to create the beginning of your Caulder Bead.
You can use this as shown or continue on to make a complete Caulder Bead to encase a bead or using the 16 g you will be able to use it as a bead in your necklace. A complete necklace using just the Caulder Bead makes an elegant necklace.
Using your round nose pliers push out the two circles making them to appear to be cones. Using your flat nose pliers bend center wire to create full bead.
Create this Universal Bead and design it any way you wish. You can make twists and dents at anytime while forming this bead and create your own design with it.
