I've got another fun project in the works.
I'm in the final phases of a wonderful, 23' long, water
themed mosaic and I'm inviting your help--time, snacks or donations of little
special stones "cool Junk"
We are especially seeking polished stones, glass or high fired ceramics or porcelain do-dads.

This project is being created with the help of 5-8th
graders at our local Skyview School. The owner of the excessively groovey Raven Cafe, 142 Cortez, downtown, Prescott,
AZ--- has commissioned this Gaudi-esque masterpiece which will be featured on
their new roof-top patio. This restaurant has been recognized for their efforts
to recycle and to support many environmental and social causes. They plan to
use the patio for growing herbs; grey-water re-use; regular restaurant related
activities and..supporting the arts!
(Thank you Ty, for your vision and
support of the arts and our community.)
Next week we hope to wrap up the thin-setting --which is a
process anyone can learn if they come to one of our---
Community Mosaic Days--Monday through Friday,
October 6,7,8,9 and 10th, from 10a.m. to 6p.m. each
day!
Kids are welcome with adult accompaniment.
Then, a later date will be set for a Community Grouting Weekend (to be
announced)---with snacks and news media and messy fun for all!
I hope to see you sometime next week!
Share the love and joy of making big, beautiful ART!!
