Hannah Hunter is among the original members of Arts Prescott Cooperative Gallery.

Arts Prescott is 14 this year.

Hannah has been know in the past for her purple and blue functional pottery and many have a full set and enjoy them daily. Now Hannah has gone into the Horse Hair Pottery Design. Here are some of Hannah's pendants she created recently for her collection of clay designs at Art Prescott.

This summer Hannah has been busy swimming with the dolphins and she expresses the happiness of this in her pottery.

Recycled Kahlua Bottle Glass and Amber Necklace at Arts Prescott

Here is a photo taken inside my Jewelry Case at Arts Prescott Cooperative Gallery on Historical  Whiskey Row in Prescott, Arizona.

The long necklace is created with Recycled Kahlua Bottle Glass which is one of my favorite recycled glasses to work with when doing my lampwork beads.

"Kahlua On Whiskey Row" has 4 lampwork hollow beads between some loom bead weaving with size 11 seed beads, agate beads and several sizes of Baltic Amber Chips. You can also see 2 flat vintage lucite beadsin this piece.

On the display with this necklace is a Kahlua Brooch which is on a cord so it can  also be worn as a pendant.

Needle Case by Brenda Behrens at Arts Prescott

As someone who loves seed beads and works with them daily ... all I can say is tools mean a lot to me. My Brenda Behren's Needle Case is one of my treasures which make beading more fun.

Brenda Behren's teaches wood turning and wood carving at Yavapai College and she shows her own work at Arts Prescott Cooperative Gallery on Historical Whiskey Row.

Brenda now has a collection of Artful Pens. They are Small and fine, but also mighty.

Brenda's one-of-a-kind pieces attract many wood collectors to Prescott.

My jewelry design is done with much of my  imagination. I sometimes surprise myself after a piece is finished, because I don't always start out to create it the way it turns out. Sometimes the beads decide where they want to go.

Vintage Buttons inspire much of my design.

Recycled glass, buttons, pearls, stones, amber, and sometimes a shard or two will come together and end up part of a Rowena Design.

Sharon used Alpaca to create this wonderful woven piece.  She purchased the Alpaca yarn at Studio Three Weaving Supplies in Prescott, Arizona and the Dazzle yarn at Knit One Bead Two in Sedona, Arizona.

A Weekend to Dye For - Gaywool Dye by Louet North America

This weekend I went back into the dye pot to see which Gaywool Colors I will use for my Northern Lights.

Louet North America has the most beautiful Northern Lights Roving to spin with. They also have the white pencil roving, which I plan on dying myself with my favorite colors.

In fall I plan to do a demonstration at Prescott's Studio Three Spinning and Weaving Supplies shop. Studio Three has a wonderful class room and I will be in that room talking to every one who shows up about Gaywool Dye and the process.
I  need to be organized with which colors and supplies I will need for this demonstration.

After the morning of a trip in the dye pot, spinning is what comes next.

Here I am spinning with the Louet Julia Spinning Wheel.

This afternoon I plan on checking out the Prescott Court House Square. The Square is full of the Mountain Artist Guild showing their work. See you there!

Recycled Kahlua Bottle Glass Makes Wonderful Jewelry

These 3 brooches are created with Recycled Kahlua Bottle Glass. This lampworking process has been a lot of fun for me.

You can find these brooches in my jewelry case at Arts Prescott Cooperative Gallery on Historical Whiskey Row in Prescott, Arizona.

The brooches are created on Sterling Silver Pins or base metal depending on what you want in a brooch.

Kahlua beads and beads from all over the world are used in these pieces.

Jennifer Pedersen-Giles--Hand Spun and Hand Dyed Fiber - Spinning With Beads

Jennifer Pedersen-Giles creates some of the most wonderful Hand Dyed - Hand Spun Skeins of Yarn.

Here is "Moonlight Dance", a 2.5 oz - 138 yds of 1 ply sport to worsted weight yarn.

Jennifer writes, "The base color is hand dyed Merino in deep shades of charcoal with hits of purple and brown to symbolize the night. Wisps of dye-free Merino shed moonlight in the dark. A String & a Prayer Workshop -Eleanor Wiley has been creating contemporary prayer beads that have been exhibited throughout the US -- Europesince 1994. She has studied with and given beads to the Dalai Lama. Her stories are remarkable and her workshop is transformational.
