During the Tucson Gem and Mineral show 2007 BEADSMITH had a special wholesale room at the "To Bead True Blue" show.
The magical crimp forming tool was being demonstrated all week and everyone was running in to see this crimp tool.
You use a 2mm tubular crimp to form a perfectly round bead to secure your beads. The old crimp with the flat look or the unkempt look is a thing of the past. This is as it says on the package quick and easy.
The tubular crimps need to be sterling silver or gold-filled to have the softness of the metal to form into the round bead. After the round bead is formed you can pull all you want on the wire and it will not come apart. The good thing is you cut the one flex wire and do not need to feed it through the beads the second time.
Currently the tool out in bead shops is for .019" diameter Flex Wire. In March the new tool with the green handle will be out and you can use it for .014-.015 Flex Wire. This tool is in all bead shops and if you can't find it ask for them to order it. It is worth the wait.
I will have more information about this tool at a later date.
Check this out and your jewelry design will be made easier and look more professional.
