Fall Festival and Open Studio Tour in Prescott
The Prescott Arts & Humanities Council
4th Annual Fall Festival & Studio Tour
Is Calling All…
Artists, Actors, Dancers, Musicians, Poets, Writers,
Theatre Groups, Museums, and Art Organizations!
On behalf of the Prescott Area Arts & Humanities Council it is my pleasure to invite you to apply for participation in our 4th Annual Fall Festival & Studio Tour. The event will kick off on Friday, September 26th with the 4th Friday Art Walk and continue on Saturday, September 27th, and Sunday, September 28th, with artists demonstrations, music & dance performances, staged readings and more! We expect that by scheduling the Fall Festival & Studio Tour during warmer weather that this will invite an even higher turn out than in previous years.
New this year will be a program guide that includes more detailed information on venues and demonstrations. This is in addition to a brochure that includes a map to help patrons more easily plan for and navigate their tour. Plans are in the works for collaboration with a state wide film festival, hot deals from local hotels for tourists, a fundraiser for art supplies for the Prescott Unified School District, and a very special sneak preview of artwork and participating venue events at a local restaurant or hotel.
This will be a highly publicized event. And by pulling together multiple resources, we continue to offer this wonderful opportunity to market your artistic venue at a very low cost. Plus there is an "Early Bird" deadline on May 15th that encourages early applicants by providing a discounted fee. Participants who apply by the "Early Bird" deadline are also eligible for premium advertising space and are more likely to be featured in other promotional efforts. Additional deadline information is available in the attached application. The application can also be downloaded from PAAHC's web site. It will also be available by Monday online at www.prescottarts.com.
Participants are not required to be Prescott residents; however all venue locations must have a Prescott address. In future years, consideration may be given to expanding the tour to a larger geographic area, but we do not feel this would benefit participating venues at this time. Applications from venues that have not previously participated will be juried (details are included in the application).
We look forward to a very successful 2008 PAAHC Fall Festival & Studio Tour!

We expect this event to be even better than last year! Our wonderful marketing committee has jumped right in and is geared up for an awesome plan for promotion. It's exciting to work with such a great group of people from our local arts community that are willing to offer their talents to help turn PAAHC's 4th Annual Fall Festival & Studio Tour into the event of the year!
